ESIC Recruitment 2023: The ESIC (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) is seeking eligible and interested candidates to fill 59 vacancies for various posts at ESIC Model Hospital, Bharat Nagar, Ludhiana. As per the official notification for ESCI Recruitment 2023, applications are sought for part-time Super Specialists, Part-time/full-time Specialists, and Senior Residents (under Residency Scheme and on Contract Basis) positions. Recruitment is being done to hire suitable candidates on a contractual basis. Candidates from all categories including PwD candidates can appear for this recruitment drive.
According to the ESIC recruitment 2023 official notification, the tenure of full-time specialists on a contract basis is 3 years or till the regular incumbent joins. The tenure for part-time specialists on a contract basis and senior residents on a contract basis is 1 year or till the regular incumbent join, whichever is earlier. The upper age limit is 37 years for Senior Residents and 64 years for the rest posts. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the interview.
As per the official notification for ESIC Recruitment 2023, eligible candidates having relevant qualifications and experience will have to paper for the interview process on the 2nd Floor, MS Office, ESIC Model Hospital, Ludhiana. The reporting time is 9:30 am to 10 am. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the interview venue after the reporting time. The walk-in interview will be held on 25/05/2023.
According to the details mentioned in the official notification for ESIC Recruitment 2023, there are a total of 59 vacancies available for part-time Super Specialists, Part-time/full-time Specialists, and Senior Residents (under the Residency Scheme and on a Contract Basis) positions under various departments. There are 30 vacancies for Senior Residents under Residency Scheme and 17 vacant posts for Senior Residents on a contract basis. The number of vacancies for full-time/part-time specialists on a contract basis and part-time Super Specialists on a contract basis is 6 each. i) Senior Resident Under Residency Scheme
Candidates having a PG degree or diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university, registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Candidates not having a PG degree with relevant experience can also be selected if and only if PG candidates are not available. Candidates applying for Senior Resident (Casualty) should have a PG diploma or degree in Clinical branches.
ii) Senior Resident on Contract Basis
PG Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
iii) Full-time/Part-time Specialist
Candidates must have a PG degree/diploma and must be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
iv) Part-time Super Specialist
Candidates must have a Post Graduation Qualification in the concerned specialty and must be registered with the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Candidates should also possess DM/M.ch. in the concerned Super Specialty
Note: Candidates who have already completed 3 years of residency are not eligible for Senior Resident under the Residency scheme post
As per the details mentioned in the official notification for ESIC Recruitment 2023, candidates must possess certain essential experience for some posts. The experience required for various posts is listed below:
i) Senior Resident Under Residency Scheme
Candidates without a PG Degree or PG Diploma must have at least 2 years of experience in the same discipline to which they have applied.
ii) Full-time/Part-time Specialist
Candidates with a PG Degree should have at least 3 years of experience in the concerned specialty. Candidates possessing PG Diploma must have at least 5 years of experience in the concerned specialty.

As per the details mentioned in the ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the job tenure for each post varies. The detailed job tenure is mentioned below:
i) Senior Resident Under Residency Scheme
The candidates will be employed for a period of 3 years or till the regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. The extension will be provided annually after evaluating the performance of the candidate.
ii) Full-time Specialists
Candidates will be hired for a 3-year period with an annual evaluation and the term will be renewed every year based on satisfactory performance or till the regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
iii) Part-time Specialists
The tenure for part-time specialists on a contract basis is 1 year or till the regular incumbent join, whichever is earlier.
iV) Senior Resident on Contract Basis
The job tenure for Senior Residents on a contract basis is 1 year or till the regular incumbent join, whichever is earlier.
As per the ESIC Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates will be interviewed on 25th May 2023. The reporting time of the interview is 9:30 am to 10 am. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the interview venue after the reporting time. The interview will be held at the address: 2nd Floor, MS Office, ESIC Model Hospital, Ludhiana.
According to the official notification for ESIC Recruitment 2023, candidates will be hired on the basis of a walk-in interview. Eligible candidates should appear for the walk-in interview on 25th May 2023 with their original certificates. Candidates will also have to bring one set of attested photocopies of the relevant documents in support of age, qualifications, Degree, experience, etc. Candidates must also bring two recent passport-size photographs on the interview day.
