Former Cricket Player and 1983 World Cup Winner team member Roger Binny Elected as a 36th President of BCCI Former Indian Cricketer and India's World Cup cup team winning team member Roger Binny was elected as President of the Board of Cricket Cricket Control in India, replacing Sourav Ganguly who completes his three year tenure recently. The Decision has been taken in the 91st Annual Meeting of BCCI held at Mumbai. The Other Important Decision was taken in the meeting:
  • Jay Shah Will Continue as secretary of BCCI.
  • Ashish Shelar has been appointed as BCCI Treasurer.
  • Rajiv Shukla was appointed as Vice President of BCCI.
  • Arun Dhumal has been Appointed as President of Indian Premier League( IPL)
About Roger Binny: Right Arm Fast Medium Bowler represents India in 27 Test and 72 One Day International Cricket Matches. Roger Binny appointed as 36th President of BCCI. The Ace Pacer bagged 47 wickets in Test matches and also 77 in ODIs. He was the Highest Wicket Taker that is  18 in 1983 Cricket World Cup, and plays a major role in first ever world cup win.
