Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, a premier Institute imparting training in various disciplines of Film and Television, is an autonomous organization under Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India. As per FTII Recruitment 2023 notification, selected candidates will be paid off with a monthly salary of between Rs. 37400 – Rs. 67000. Essential
(a) Graduate from a recognized university.
(b) Minimum 15 years experience in the field of Film/Electronic Media, out of which a minimum of 3 years experience in heading an Academic/Professional Institution/University/Department/Organization of national repute.
Desirable
(a) Being a filmmaker of repute.
(b) Having a post-graduate degree or diploma in cinema from a recognized University/Institute.
(c) Having experience teaching courses related to Films/TV in a recognized University/Institution.
As per FTII Recruitment 2023 notification, the Required age limits are given below:
ON DEPUTATION
The upper age limit for appointment on deputation (including short term contract) shall not exceed 56 years. However, in case of candidates where age of superannuation in their parent department is 65 years or above, the upper age limit will be 62 years.
Period of deputation including the period of deputation (on short term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed 5 years. Further, in case of candidates where age of superannuation is 65 years or above in their parent department, the period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 5 years or till incumbent attains age of superannuation, whichever is earlier.
ON CONTRACT
Contract for a period of 3 years extendable up to 6 years or 60 years of age, whichever is earlier.
