GMRC Recruitment 2023 for 424 Vacancies: Check Posts, Qualification and Other Details
GMRC Recruitment 2023: Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Limited (GMRCL) is inviting applications from young, dynamic and motivated persons of Indian nationality for the posts of Station Controller/Train Operator (SC/TO), Customer Relations Assistant (CRA), Junior Engineer and Maintainer. As mentioned in the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of up to Rs. 100000. As given in the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, candidates between the age of 18 to 28 years can apply for the above-mentioned posts. According to the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, there are a total of 424 vacancies for the given posts.
In accordance with the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test and Gujarati language test. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website. Candidates belonging to the General/Unreserved category have to pay Rs. 600 as the application fee, ST/SC/EWS category candidates have to pay Rs. 150 and OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 300 as an application fee. The online application have already started on 10.05.23.

As mentioned in the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, the appointment is for 2 years. The Training period of two years divided as per the organizational requirement which includes class room training, technical training, on-the job training etc. along with probation period which shall include customized training program, where the candidates will undergo intensive training as prescribed by GMRC.
As given in the official notification of GMRC recruitment 2023, the age limit is different for every post which is given below-
For Station Controller/Train Operator (SC/TO), Customer Relations Assistant (CRA) and Junior Engineer- Candidates between the age of 18 to 28 years can apply for the given posts.
For Maintainer- Candidates between the age of 18 to 25 years can apply for the given posts.
The upper age relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST/EWS and 3 years for SEBC / OBC candidates for reserved posts. Upper age for Ex-servicemen upto 45 years.

Candidates applying for GMRC Recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-
Station Controller/Train Operator (SC/TO)- Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Computer Engineering or Electronics/Electronics and Communications discipline from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
Customer Relations Assistant (CRA)- Science Graduate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics discipline from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
Junior Engineer- #Diploma in Electrical engineering from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
Junior Engineer (Electronics)- Diploma in Electronics/Electronics and Communications engineering from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
Junior Engineer (Engineer)- Diploma in Mechanical engineering from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
Junior Engineer (Civil)- Diploma in Civil Engineering in from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
Maintainer (Fitter)- SSLC pass with ITI (Two Years) in Fitter from a Government Recognized University /Institute.
Maintainer (Electrical)- SSLC pass with ITI (Two Years) in Electrician from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
Maintainer (Electronics)- SSLC pass with ITI (Two Years) Electronics from a Government Recognized University / Institute.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and gujarati language test.
For Station Controller / Train Operator (SC / TO), Customer Relations Assistant (CRA), and Junior Engineer :
The duration of the test will be 120 minutes (2 hours) for all parts together.
The test will consist of 120 questions: Gujarati language (20 questions), Logical Ability and Reasoning (20 questions) Quantitative aptitude (20 questions), General English (20 questions), and Technical Knowledge (40 questions).
For Maintainers (MTNR)
The duration of the test will be 120 minutes. The test will consist of 100 questions: Technical Knowledge (40 questions), Gujarati language (20 questions), Logical Ability and Reasoning (15 questions), Quantitative aptitude (10 questions) and General English (15 questions).
Candidates belonging to General/Unreserved category have to pay Rs. 600 as application fee, ST/SC/EWS category candidates have to pay Rs. 150 and OBC category candidates have to pay Rs. 300 as application fee.
