Overview:

Godrej is hiring an experienced Executive- Exports at their Mumbai location. The incumbent would be responsible for managing end to end processing of orders from SAARC country teams and ensure timely supply of the same with complete documentation by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be Doing:

• Responsible for managing Primary transportation (Warehouse to Export Customer – Road and Sea) operations in SAARC.
• Manage transporters for requirement of trucks on a daily basis and Freight Forwarders/CHA for Sea Shipments with optimization in Freight.
• Vendor Management: Freight negotiations and contract management
• Ensuring timely supply of orders for Customer country teams within the agreed Order Fulfilment Lead time.
• Inventory management at warehouses to assure PKM accuracy & Optimize inventory holding to minimize space issues
• Forecast Collation for SAARC and Order Release for respective SAARC Customers
• Interact with planning team and Sales teams on stock requirement and availability
• Responsible  for Product Availability, Fill rates, Business Risk callouts (Shortage report)
• Drive projects impacting Supply Chain transformation ( service levels, inventory, logistics, packaging,  etc)
• Stakeholder Management of internal Customers – SAARC Stakeholders (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Legal, Audit)
• Responsible for tracking ageing inventory, & liquidation of SLOB in liaison with Sales teams
• Preparation of Pre –shipment documentation –Invoice, packing list.
• Preparation of Post –shipment documents –Invoice / packing list / COO /Bill of lading / any other documents required e.g. ISAFTA / CNCA / SAFTA etc
• Liaise with Bank for negotiation of post-shipment documents.
• Prepare Order MIS and drive efficiency improvement projects

Qualifications for this Job:

• Graduates
• Experience of 2-4 years in the Supply chain of Export Import Management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical ability & problem solving – Able to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought out conclusions
• Strong MS Office, MS Excel knowledge and basic Knowledge of SAP
• Stakeholder management
• Export exposure is preferred
