The scheme is beneficial for those who have not paid the full or remaining tax towards a property. The One Time Property Tax Settlement Scheme is applicable as follows:

  • If you settle your original amount in lump sum by July 31, 2025 you will get a full exemption from all penalties and interest till this period.
  • Those who settle the above tax dues after July 31, 2025, but before October 31, 2025, can get a 50% exemption on the penalties and interest.
  • However, tax dues paid after October 31, 2025, will attract all the interest and penalties on the due amount as per the legal provisions. No exemption would be provided in such a case.
