The Government has amended Notification No. 45/2025-Customs to insert SBER Bank in List 14, allowing imports for domestic consumption through the bank until March 31, 2026.

Govt Amends Customs Notification 45/2025; SBER Bank Added to List 14 for Imports Till March 2026
The Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) has issued an official notification [G.S.R. 181(E)], dated March 12, 2026, informing that the Central Government has made some significant changes to an earlier notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 45/2025-Customs, dated October 24, 2025, published in the Gazette of India on October 24, 2025.
The government has taken this action in pursuance of its powers granted under subsection (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and subsection (12) of section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975). The government has made these changes in the interest of the public.
In the aforementioned notification, the LISTS added to TABLE I, in List 14, after item number 2 and the entries relating thereto, "3. SBER Bank* (* with effect from 25.06.2025 till 31.03.2026. Import allowed for domestic consumption only)" has been inserted.
