As this decision once taken cannot be changed and also a student's entire education criteria revolves around that stream after class 10th till the time a student continues his/her education. Below, we have discussed about some pros and cons of each stream. In India, Science is the most popular stream among students. One of the main reasons why this stream is so popular is that it opens wide career options to students, such as engineering, medicine, architecture and more. But science is a stream that requires hard work and good marks as these courses are highly competitive. It is also the most difficult stream to study. In particular, maths and physics are considered to be the most difficult subjects. Science stream subjects requires major time and hardwork but the results are so satisfying. Commerce is another popular stream among students after science as it offers wide career options to students in the fields of chartered accountancy, business management or financial analysis. This stream provides students knowledge about finance, economics and accounting principles; this will help them succeed in their future goals. However, this stream does not provide students any sort of hands-on experience like the science stream with lab experiments and the arts stream with creative projects. Arts streams, as per the records, are chosen by the majority of the population in India, but slowly, this rate is decreasing as competition is increasing among students. The Arts/Humanities stream includes subjects such as history, literature and languages. This stream helps improve critical thinking skills in students. This stream provides major opportunities and creative career options such as journalism or writing. But one con is that this stream rarely provides job security like other streams do.How to Choose the Right Stream for You
