Job Description and Responsibilities of Managing Director

The candidate selected for the following post will act as the chief executive of the corporation and will be held accountable to its Board of Directors. He/she will be held responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporation for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters. 

Eligibility Criteria for HSCC Recruitment 2022

Before applying for the post of Managing Director in HSCC, the candidates must check the preferred age limit and educational qualifications. 

Age Limit

The age limit preferred to apply for the post is 40-55 years. 

Qualifications

To apply for the post, the candidate must be an Engineering graduate/ Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant/Post Graduate/Graduate with MBA/PGDM from a recognized institute or university. 

Experience Required 

Interested candidates must have cumulative experience/exposure of at least 5 years during the last 10 years in Construction/Consultancy/Project Management of Housing/Commercial/Hospital Projects. 

Duration of the Appointment

The duration of the appointment will be for a period of five years from the date of joining or up to the date of superannuation or until further notice. 

Submission Process of the Application

The candidates will have to submit their application form through the proper channel, i.e., for Government Officers, including those of the Armed Forces of the Union and All India Services, the application will be sent through Cadre Controlling authority. For CMDs/MDs/Functional Directors in CPSE, the application should be sent through the concerned Administrative Ministry. And below Board Level in CPSE: through the concerned CPSE. For below Board Level in SPSE: through the cornered SPSE. The applicants working in the private sector will have to send their applications directly to the PESB.  Also, the application forms should be addressed to the ‘Director (Delhi Division), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Room no.-211-C wing, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi. 

Documents Required to Apply

Applicants from the private sector will need to submit the following document along with the application form: annual reports of the company in which you are currently working for the three financial years preceding the calendar year in which the post is advertised, evidence of working at Board level, age and qualification certificates.
