Juniper Hotels Limited has received an order from the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under section 7A of the EPF and MPA Act. The company has informed the stock exchanges (NSE and BSE) about the same under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in the order has claimed that Juniper Hotels provident fund dues of Rs 6,54,34,274 related to International Workers under Section 7A of EPF & MPA Act, 1952.
The company is planning to challenge the order after consulting an expert with the appropriate authority. The company has also stated that the assessment order will not affect the company's activities.
