IAF Recruitment 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) is inviting online applications from desired, well-motivated, and eligible Male and Female candidates for induction into Agniveervayu under the ‘Agnipath Scheme’. Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English and must hold a Three-year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) OR Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Mathematics (see below). Candidates chosen for the aforementioned post can be paid a maximum salary of upto Rs. 30000 for the first year and salary increase in every year.
In reference to the official notification of IAF Recruitment 2024, the period of engagement for selected candidates will be for 4 years. The examination fee is Rs. 550 plus GST and is to be paid online by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking through a payment gateway. The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of an Examination that will be conducted by the committee. The upper age limit of applicants must be 21 years, which means they should be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008. Candidates in IAF Recruitment 2024, according to the official notification will be shortlisted based on an Examination that will be conducted by the committee. This examination is valid for AGNIVEERVAYU INTAKE 01/2026.
As stated in the official notification of IAF Recruitment 2024, the chosen candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs.30000 in the first year.
According to the official notification of IAF Recruitment 2024, Agniveervayu will be enrolled in the Indian Air Force under the Air Force Act 1950, for a period of FOUR years.
