ICAI Announced Registration Date for Online Home-Based Practical Training Assessment

On March 26, 27, and 28, 2022, the next practical training evaluation will be held online. This test is open to students who finished their first or second year of practical training between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2021.

Students who have already taken the practical training test (one or two times) and wish to enhance their performance/grade can retake the test for a cost of Rs.200, providing they meet the qualifying requirements listed above. The best grade will be evaluated for inclusion in the virtual certificate in this situation. Students who enrolled for the previous test(s) but were unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances can still register for this test for a charge of Rs.200, providing they are eligible for this test. The registration for the upcoming test will commence at 10 a.m. on March 3, 2022, and close on March 10, 2022. (Thursday).

During the above-mentioned time frame, students can register for the test using the registration portal https://pttest.icai.org/. Depending on the amount of candidates, students will be assigned any test date and hour from the aforementioned test dates. On March 22, 2022, students will receive their admit card via the portal, which will include information about their test date, time, and link to take the test. They will be notified about the Mock Test through e-mail to their registered e-mail ID, or they can check the site for more information.

Please note that students who finished their second year of practical training between January and March of 2021 will only be able to take this exam one more. However, if a student completes their first year of training between January and March 2021, this is their final attempt at the Level 1 test, and they can take the Level 2 test at a later date.

Students can contact the Help Desk listed on the portal if they have any concerns or questions about registration or appearance. To minimize last-minute problems, students should register for the test ahead of time.
