ICAI UDIN Portal Dashboard Streamlines Tax Audit Monitoring

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has developed a dedicated dashboard at the UDIN Portal to facilitate Chartered Accountants' tracking of their tax audit assignments more clearly in a single place.
The dashboard has categorised tax audit-related works under different categories, including Form 3CA under the third provision of section 44AB, Form 3CB under Section 44AB(a), Form 3CB under Section 44AB(b) and Form 3CB (Combined) under Section 44AB. Each category separately reflects the number of tax audits conducted and UDINs generated.
It further shows the total tax audit limit allowed, which is presently reflected as 60 in the current view of the dashboard. Additionally, the system tracks the number of audits already used and the remaining balance available for the practitioner. In the given summary, the tax audit count and UDIN generation count are currently shown as zero, leaving the full limit of 60 still available.
Overall, the dashboard will allow members to quickly have access to their entire audit workload under different clauses at a consolidated location. It avoids manual tracking effort and helps ensure compliance with prescribed limits while maintaining accuracy in UDIN reporting.
