ICAI News: SPMT Temporarily suspended due to software maintenance

The Examination Department of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) made a formal announcement regarding a temporary suspension of the Self-Paced Online Module Tests (SPMT).

Due to scheduled maintenance and upgrade activities being carried out on the SPMT portal, no tests will be administered between April 11 and April 20, 2025.

During this period, slot booking and examination attempts on the portal will remain unavailable. The slot booking facility will all continue from April 21, 2025, and candidates will be able to schedule their tests after the date thereafter.

This official notice was issued under the authority of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on 4th April 2025.

The officially released notice states, “In view of the maintenance and upgradation in the software of the SPMT portal, the Self-Paced Online Module tests will not be conducted from 11th April 2025 to 20th April 2025.”
