ICAI Notifies Three New Branches in Rajasthan [Read Notification]

ICAI Notifies Three New Branches in Rajasthan [Read Notification] The Institute Of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), set up by an Act of Parliament, has recently issued three official notifications [No. 1-CA (7)/231/2025, No. 1-CA (7)/232/2025 and No. 1-CA(7)/233/2025] dated July 23, 2025, notifying that the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is setting up three new branches of the Central India Regional Council in the districts of Nagaur, Churu and Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan). These three branches will be made effective from July 01, 2025. The Council of ICAI has taken its decision in exercise of powers granted under Regulation 159 (1A) of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. The newly set branches will be called as the Nagaur District Branch of the Central India Regional Council, the Churu District Branch of the Central India Regional Council, and the Jhunjhunu District Branch of the Central India Regional Council, respectively, and their headquarters will be established in Nagaur, Churu and Jhunjhunu, respectively.
  • Except for Nagaur, Mundwa, Khinvsar, Merta, Riyan Badi, Degana, Jayal, Sanju, etc., the Nagaur branch will have authority over the entire Nagaur District.
  • Except for Churu, Ratangarh, Sardarshahar, Sujangarh, Taranagar, Rajgarh, Rajaldesar, Bidasar, Sidhmukh, etc., the Churu branch will have authority over the entire Churu District.
  • Except for Malsisar, Buhana, Chirawa, Jhunjhunu, Mandawa, Nawalgarh, Gudha Gourji, Surjgarh, Bissau, etc., the Jhunjhunu branch will have authority over the entire Jhunjhunu District.
In accordance with sub-rule (3) of Regulation 159, the branch must work under the control and guidance of the Council of ICAI through the Central India Regional Council. It must also follow any instructions or guidelines given by the Council from time to time. Refer to the official notification for complete information.
