The Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has launched a one-time opportunity for CA Final passed candidates to complete the Virtual Advanced Information Technology Training (Advanced ITT) and Management & Communication Skills (MCS) Course to apply for membership of ICAI.
The ICAI has notified this opportunity via an announcement dated August 02, 2026. As per the announcement, this opportunity is only available for candidates who cleared the CA Final Examination before the enforcement of the New Scheme of Education effective from July 01, 2023; however, they could not complete the aforementioned Advanced ITT and/or MCS Course.
Such candidates will now be able to complete these mandatory learning requirements under this one-time opportunity. According to the announcement, registrations for the Virtual Advanced ITT and Virtual MCS Courses have already started from August 01, 2026. Eligible candidates can register themselves using the Digital Learning Hub (DLH) platform of ICAI. The last date to complete the registration process is June 30, 2027.
The duration of both the Virtual MCS Course and Advanced IT Training shall be 15 days each. To complete these, a candidate is granted a maximum time limit of 30 days for each course from the date of registering for the virtual course. If candidates fail to complete the course within the allotted time limit, no further extension is granted.
