ICAI Prepares Draft Panel for Appointment/Re-Appointment of StCCBs and CCBs for Tax Year 2026-27
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Professional Development Committee had made an official announcement dated May 04, 2026, informing that the Draft Panel for Appointment/Re-appointment of Statutory Auditors of State Co-operative Banks (StCCBs) and Central Co-operative Banks (CCBs) for the tax year 2026-27 has been successfully prepared based on applicable guidelines. The same has been made available at the website, https://meficai.org/.
ICAI has tried drawing attention to the fact that this draft panel has been prepared considering the MEF panel 2025-26 as the base panel. It has further been clarified that the applicants will be able to view their categories, i.e., A/B/C (as the case may be), according to the "Guidelines on Appointment / Re-appointment of Statutory Auditors of State Co-operative Banks and Central Co-operative Banks", issued on January 15, 2024.
If applicants have any observations or complaints regarding the panel, they can write at https://app.meficai.org/complaints or can contact Ms Priya Duggal at 92055 59866 or Mr Manish Bhardwaj at 92055 59865.
The draft panel will remain live till May 08, 2026. After analysing all the submitted queries, suitable changes will be implemented to the panel; thereafter, the final version will be sent to NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) for their consideration.
