ICMR has opened 02 vacancies for the posts of Scientist-C (Non-Medical) and Scientist-D (Non-Medical).

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

For Scientist-C (Non-Medical)-

• The upper age limit is 40 years (relaxable in accordance to GOI instructions).

For Scientist- D (Non-Medical)-

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

As per the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the chosen candidates will receive a monthly salary as given below:

For Scientist-C (Non-Medical)-

• The chosen candidates will get a monthly salary in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 67700-208700) (7th CPC Scale).

For ScientistD (Non-Medical)-

• The chosen candidates will get a monthly salary in Level 12 of Pay Matrix (Rs.78800-Rs.209200) (7th CPC Scale).

Educational Qualifications for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

As given in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the required qualifications are given below:

For Scientist-C Non-Medical-

• The candidate should have Masters from a recognized University in Bio-Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ Pharmacology/ Immunology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Medical Genetics.

Desirable –

• The candidate should have Ph.D. from a recognized University in biochemistry, pharmacy, pharmacology, Immunology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Medical Genetics.

Experience–

• The candidate should have 4 Years of experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Management in healthcare, medicine, or therapeutics in Govt./ Public / Private Sector

Notes:

• PhD will be considered as 4 years’ experience (irrespective of the duration taken to complete the degree).
• MPH/M.Tech/ME will not be considered as any experience.
• Experience in IP, Technology Transfer, Entrepreneurship development, and drafting policies/guidelines/legal agreements relevant to job requirements (specific requirements given in Official Notification) in Govt./ Public Sector / Private Sector will be admissible.

For Scientist-D NonMedical-

• The candidate should have Masters from a recognized University in Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Pharmacology/ Immunology, Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Medical Genetics.

• The candidate should have Ph.D. from a recognized University in Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Immunology/ Pharmacology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Medical Genetics.

• The candidate should have 8 Years of experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Management in Healthcare/ medicines/ therapeutics in Govt./ Public / Private Sector.

Application Fee for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the applicants must deposit an application fee of Rs. 1500 for general/ obc and SC/ST/Women/PwBD/EWS candidates are exempted from application fee through online link given in the application form.

Selection Process for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

As given in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the mode of selection will be based on computer-based written tests (MCQs) or interviews or both. The written test would be based on the understanding of research methods and will be of a qualifying nature and the minimum qualifying would be 75 percentile.

• You need to fill section-wise application form. Once the mandatory details are with the required documents.

• You’ll be redirected to make the payment.
• Once payment is made, your application is considered complete.

After the successful submission of the application, candidates can again take a final printout of
the application.

No offline application form or copy of downloaded application form will be accepted by
the ICMR. However, a hard copy of the application form (final printout) along with all
uploaded documents may be submitted at the time when called upon to do so by the
ICMR.
