IIIT Recruitment 2022 for the Post of Asst. Professor: Check Vacacnies, Pay Level, Qualification and How to Apply
IIIT Recruitment 2022: Indian Institute of Information Technology has invited the application in its department for Asst. Professor posts. There is a total of 15 Vacant Posts in the department which is break-up department-wise. The selected candidate will get the Level of Pay 12 as per the official notification of IIIT Recruitment 2022.
Interested candidates can submit the application through the official website of IIIT and Candidates are advised to fill out the Online Prescribed Application Form within the stipulated time. The candidates would have to upload the relevant supporting documents online Or Duly Completed Application form along with fees and enclosures to be sent by speed/Registered Post/Courier/Hand sent to the address which is mentioned in the full notification. The application fees for all category Rs. 1000 as per the official notification of IIIT Recruitment 2022.
The Last Date for Submission of Online Applications is 30-12-2022 and the Last Date to Submission of Offline Applications is 06-01-2023.
Assistant Professor
1. Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (CSE or ECE) with First Class at B.Tech/BE and M.Tech/ME Level.
2. Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (Physics) with First Class at B.Sc and M.Sc Level.
3. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with First Class at B.Tech/BE and M.Tech/ME Level.
Desirable Qualification
1. Two Research Papers published or accepted in any of the Journals covered under any of the two major citation indexes, Web of Science (SCI/SSCI and other) and Scopus (with JOURNALS ONLY option).
2. GATE Qualified Score
3. Ongoing Research Projects
4. Patent granted
5. Present / Past Consultancy or any Revenue generation activity
6. Recipient of Prestigious Awards /Fellowships
7. NPTL / SWAYAM Activities
8. Experience in Industry Collaboration
9. At least One or all Degrees from an Institute of National Importance or Foreign University.
As per the Official Notification of IIIT Recruitment 2022 Selected candidate will get the Level of Pay 12.

a.) Applications received in response to advertisement shall be scrutinized and only shortlisted candidates shall be called for participation in the Selection Process. No communication shall be entertained from the Candidates not called for participation in the Selection Process.
b.) The list of the eligible candidates shall be uploaded on the Institute Website Only. The candidates are advised to keep visiting the Website regularly.
c.) The schedule for the Selection Process shall be uploaded on the Institute Website only.
d.) The shortlisted eligible candidates would have to undergo through two stages as under.
Stage – I : Demo Class on UG Subject Topic (No PhD Topic) – 10 Minutes
Stage – II : Personal Interview
e.) Only the eligible candidates staying aboard would be allowed to attend the Demo/Interview through Online Mode subject to the approval of the Competent Authority. The request to this effect should have to be emailed 10 days before the scheduled date for Demo/Interview.
