Income Tax Form Alert: Form 3CEFC Now Available for Filing
Companies can now file Form 3CEFC on the e-filing portal of the Income Tax Department. This form is used by companies that want to select "safe harbour" rules for some types of income referred to in clause (i) of sub-section (1) of section 9, which are taxed under the head "Profits and gains of business or profession".
CBDT has informed about this update by Notification No. 124/2024 dated November 29, 2024.
Safe harbour is a provision in law that protects individuals or organizations from being held responsible for certain actions.
