Appointment on Contract for Officers presently working in CDA/IDA Scales

• Officers should have service experience in Signal & Telecommunication Engineering in the field of Railways subject to the following:

For Officers working in CDA scale:

1. Employees working in PB-2 + GP 4600(PB 2 + GP 4800 in A/Cs deptt. of IR) – (Pre-revised 6th CPC) Revised to matrix level 7/8 under 7th CPC for a period of 02 years.

For Officers working in IDA scale:

1. Working in IDA scale of Rs.24900-50500 (Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to Rs.60000-180000 under 3rd PRC and having Minimum 06 years of Managerial/Executive level service experience OR
2. Working in IDA scale of Rs.20600-46500(Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to Rs.50000-160000 under 3rd PRC for a period of 02 years and having Minimum 06 years of Managerial / Executive level service experience.

Appointment on Contract for candidates working in Private Sector

• Candidates working in Private Sector should have service experience in Signal & Telecommunication Engineering in the field of Railways subject to the following:

1. Officer working at the level of Sr. Manager & above and drawing a minimum gross salary of at least Rs. 75,000 per month.
2. Candidate Should have Managerial level service experience of at least 08 years.

Appointment on Re-employment

• Officers who have taken Voluntary Retirement (VR) or retired on Superannuation from Railways / Railways PSUs/PSUs operating in the field of Railways/ JV Companies under Govt. control operating in the field of Railways/Govt. Companies operating in the field of Railways should have overall service experience in Signal & Telecommunication Engineering in the field of Railways subject to the following:

1. Officers who have taken VR or retired on Superannuation in CDA scale: The Officer should have taken VR or retired on superannuation in PB-3/2- GP 5400/4800 (Pre-revised 6th CPC) Revised to matrix level 10/9/8 under 7th CPC.
2. Officers who have taken VR or retired on Superannuation in IDA scale: The Officer should have taken VR or retired on superannuation in E-3 in IDA scale of Rs.24900-50500 (Pre-revised 2nd PRC) revised to Rs.60000- 180000 under 3rd PRC.

Tenure for IPRCL Recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification of IPRCL Recruitment 2024, applicants appointed on deputation and contract basis will have a tenure period of three years, whereas candidates appointed on re-employment annual contract basis will have their tenure period extended further based on the candidate’s performance and the company’s requirements.
