IRCON to Challenge Rs 147.14 Crore Arbitration Award in AFCONS Dispute Before Delhi High Court:

IRCON will challenge the Rs 147.14 crore majority arbitration award in favour of AFCONS Infrastructure in the Rs 359.72 crore T-74R-A work package dispute before the Delhi High Court.
IRCON Faces Rs 147.14 Cr Arbitration Award

IRCON International Limited, on August 14, 2023, vide letter No. IRCON ISECY/STEXl124, reported on the raising of a dispute by AFCONS Infrastructure Limited in a matter concerning the Rs 359.72 crore work package T-74R-A. The dispute was raised on February 22, 2023.
On June 29, 2026, the majority members of the arbitration tribunal passed an award of Rs 147.14 crore in favour of AFCONS, against its original claim of Rs 359.72 crore.
Subsequently, on September 23, 2026, the minority member of the tribunal issued a dissenting opinion and awarded Rs 23.64 crore against the claim amount of Rs 359.72 crore.
IRCON stated that the arbitration process has now been completed. However, the company will challenge the arbitration award before the Delhi High Court in accordance with applicable law.
IRCON International Limited has disclosed the aforementioned information to the Stock Exchange (National Stock Exchange of India Limited and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited) vide an Intimation dated September 23, 2026, issued under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
