Overview:

Accenture is hiring an experienced Bus Process Delivery New Associate-Supply chain systems at their Mumbai location. You will be aligned with our Supply Chain and Operations vertical and help us in the system of organizations, people, activities, information, and resources involved in moving a product or service from supplier to customer. Supply chain systems are a set of processes and tools that ensure the optimal operation of a manufacturing and distribution supply chain. You will be involved in working on the optimal placement of inventory within the supply chain, minimizing operating costs (including manufacturing costs, transportation costs, and distribution costs). In Transportation Management Systems (TMS), you will have to identify gaps in existing transportation management processes (like planning, cross-docking, routing), establish business requirements, conduct vendor/software selection for TMS to support business and cost requirements and implement and deploy transportation solution for the organization and partners.

In this role you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.

Your primary interaction is within your own team and your direct supervisor.
