JOURNEY OF BECOMING CA & LOVE FOR ISCA SUBJECT

Dear CA Final students (Old Syllabus)

I, Akhil Kumar Mittal, cleared CA final examination in 2011. After a month of declaration of the result, I got placed in company through campus placement. I was happy because in 2 months, I became CA and get placed too and started earning.However, after 3 to 4 months I felt something was missing in my life. Though I cleared CA and was settled, but there was “something” that was missing in my life… After some internal discussion with myself, I realized that I have done enough for my family and myself. What about “those” who were not connected to me in any manner (For me those unconnected dots were CA students). I observed that students were struggling to clear Chartered accountancy examinations due to subject “ISCA”. Most of times, because of ISCA, students were not able to become CA after repeated attempts. Now i am sharing my plans for study for ISCA:

1. Prepared my own hand written notes for all the chapters of ISCA. 
2. Used to revise ISCA for 1-2 hours daily along with other subjects. 
3. Used Mnemonics where ever necessary.
4. Develop stories to remember the points.
5. Revised ISCA 3 times before the examination.
6. Written practice of theoretical subjects atleast 1 time.
7. Scored exemption (68) in this paper by self -study. 

My dream and my venture – “Commerce Harbour Academy”-
· Founded “Commerce Harbour” academy  {Erstwhile Dhishan commerce academy } and designed website
· Started providing “HARD COPIES” of ISCA notes after devoting 1 year to “transform” hand written notes into printed format.
· We introduced the option of providing soft copy of chapter wise notes to students. Now don’t buy whole book, buy notes of required chapters only.
· We, at commerce Harbour, were amazed to see the response on ISCA notes. More than 12000 download and got amazing feedback from almost every part of India be it Chennai, Bangalore, Rajasthan, Kolkata, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Mumbai and everywhere ( OH…Forgot to mention DUBAI).

Way forward-
1. Will be providing audit and law notes for both CA Final & CA intermediate students. Visit our site for more update ( Shop and download section).
2. These notes will prove to be “Sanjeevani Booti” to students doing self study and also will be “best” for last time revision.
