KIMS Foundation and Research Centre Granted Income Tax Benefits u/s 35
The central government has given approval to KIMS Foundation and Research Centre, Hyderabad, as a recognised institution for scientific research. Persons contributing to it can get income tax benefits u/s 35 of the Income Tax Act.
As per the notification issued by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), dated 17th April, 2025, the Central Government has approved ‘KIMS Foundation and Research Centre’, Hyderabad as an ‘Other Institution’ under the category of ‘University, College or Other Institution’ for ‘Scientific Research’. This approval is effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette, i.e., from the Previous Year 2025-26, for the Assessment Years 2026-27 to 2030-31.
