KMRL Recruitment 2023: Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) is seeking applications from experienced, dynamic, project-oriented, result-driven, and motivated persons having experience in execution of the large metro/railway projects to appoint a Chief Engineer (Civil) on Re-employment i.e. on Post Retirement Contractual Engagement basis. According to KMRL Recruitment 2023 Notification, there is only one vacancy for the Chief Engineer (Civil) Post. The age of the candidate to be eligible should not be below 62 years as on 1st Jan 2023.

Applications are being invited for the Post of Chief Engineer (Civil) – Post a Retirement Contractual Engagement basis. There is only one vacancy for the Post.
The age of the candidate to be eligible should be below 62 years as on 1st Jan 2023 for the appointment to the Post of Chief Engineer (Civil).
The eligible candidate should hold a B.E./ B.Tech or B. Sc (Engg.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute (including Retd. IRSE
Officers of Indian Railways).
The eligible candidate should hold a minimum of 25 years of Experience in handling Railway/ Metro Rail-related projects out of which a minimum of 5 years in Metro Rail-related projects.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have designed and/or executed the Civil works in metro rail projects and have dealt with contract
management related to rail /metro rail projects.
Candidates can be Working/ Retired Officers of Railway /Rail PSUs /Metro Rail Companies in the pay scale of Rs.144200- 218200 (Level-14) or higher CDA pattern) or in the pay scale of Rs.120000 – 280000 or higher (IDA pattern) under similar roles in Other Rail/ Metro Organizations
The candidate selected shall be paid SUITABLE Consolidated pay commensurate to the last pay drawn by them as per KMRL’s extant rules.
The period of engagement will be initially for two years, renewable further till attaining the age of 65 years, subject to consistent good performance and conduct and requirement.
