MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2022: Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited has announced the notification regarding the vacancy for the post of Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer under various trades. There are a total of 661 vacancies for the given post. The maximum age limit to apply for the position is 38 years. The monthly remuneration paid is up to Rs. 119315.

Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply through the link given in the official notification. Candidates applying for the Assistant engineer post will have to pay Rs. 800 as application fee charges and candidates applying for Junior engineer post will have to pay Rs. 500. Candidates belonging to the reserved category have to pay Rs. 600 and Rs. 300 respectively. Selection is based on the merit of the exam.

Online application will be available from- 18th November 2022.

Age for MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2022:

The maximum age limit to apply for the position is 38 years. The upper age limit for departmental candidates is 57 years. The age is relaxed by 5 years for the Backward Category.

The upper age relaxation for candidates applying under Persons with Disability, Sports Persons Quota, Project Affected Persons & Ex-Servicemen is 45 years.

Remuneration for MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2022:

For Assistant Engineer- Pay grade II Rs. 49210 to Rs. 119315.

For Junior Engineer- Pay grade III Rs. 37340 to Rs. 103375.

Qualification for MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2022:

For Assistant Engineer- 

Mechanical Stream: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Production Industrial Engineering/Thermal Engineering/Mechanical & AutomationEngineering.

Electrical Stream: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Electrical Instrumentation of Control Engineering/Power System and High Voltage Engineering/Power Electronics Engineering/Power.

Instrumentation Stream: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Instrumentation Engineering/Instrumentation of Control Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering/Electronics and Power Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University.

For Junior Engineer- 

Mechanical Stream: Diploma in Mechanical.

Electrical Stream: Diploma in Electrical/Power Engineering/Electrical and Power Engineering and Technology.

Instrumentation Stream: Diploma in Instrumentation Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication from a recognized University.

Selection Procedure for MAHAGENCO Recruitment 2022:

The Online exam will include questions from Degree/Diploma course mentioned under the respective stream. The candidate is requested to take note of the same. Selection is based on the merit of the exam.

i. The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score.

ii. The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores.

iii. Test scores and scores on total are reported with the decimal point up to two digits. The list of candidates selected will be published on the official website of Mahagenco.
