Marathwada Small-scale Industrialists Demanded GST Tribunal in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Marathwada Small-Scale industries asked for a GST tribunal in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and for competitive electricity rates for the Maharashtra industries at their gathering with Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar.
On Sunday, in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Marathwada Association from Small-Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) delegation, chaired by Arjun Gaikwad, its president, met the finance minister of state.
The communication asked for the settlement of a Goods and Service Tax (GST) tribunal in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, amalgamating as an industrial hub, and competitive electricity rates for industries. Raising argument that states offers cheaper rates in comparison to them.
In addition to the electricity rates, their demand further included the formation of a ring road to connect the Shendra-Bidkin-Waluj industrial areas, the beginning of construction work for the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar- Pune expressway, in addition to its connection to the Chakan industrial area.
A separate police station for the area of Waluj industries and CCTV cameras network are demanded by the industry association.
The Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (MASSIA) wants legal action to be taken against the those who are misusing the provisions of Right to Information (RTI) to target industries and extortionists.
