MCL Recruitment 2023 for 295 Vacancies: Check Posts, Qualifications, and How to Apply 

MCL Recruitment 2023: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, A Govt. of India Undertaking is inviting online applications from eligible citizens of India for Various posts including Jr.Overman, T and S Gr-C, Mining Sirdar T and S Gr-C and Surveyor, T and S Gr-B. The candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may submit their applications through ONLINE MODE ONLY.

According to MCL Recruitment 2023 notification, there are a total of 295 vacancies for the Posts. 1. Jr.Overman, T&S Gr-C – 82

2. Mining Sirdar T&S Gr-C – 145

3. Surveyor, T&S Gr-B – 68

Age-Limit for MCL Recruitment 2023:

The age limit of candidates should be below 56 years to be eligible to apply for the given posts as on 23/01/2023.

Qualification for MCL Recruitment 2023:

For Jr.Overman, T&S Gr-C:

i. The candidate should hold a Diploma in Mining Engineering of 03 years duration or a Degree in Mining Engineering or other equivalent qualifications approved on that behalf by the Central Government from any recognized Institute.

ii. Valid Overman Competency Certificate(Un-Restricted) issued by Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in both Open Cast (OC) & Under Ground (UG) Mines or any other certificate in Mining which entitle to work as Overman as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in both OC & UG Mines.

iii. Valid First Aid Certificate.

iv. Valid Gas Testing Certificate.

For Mining Sirdar, T&S Gr-C:

i. He/She should have cleared the Senior Secondary school examination or intermediate examination (10+2) or equivalent Examination from any recognized Board of Examination.

OR

Diploma in Mining Engineering of 03 years duration or Degree in Mining Engineering or other equivalent qualifications approved in that behalf by the Central Government from any recognized Institute.

ii. Valid Mining Sirdarship Certificate of Competency (Un-Restricted) from DGMS under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in both Open Cast (OC) & Under Ground (UG) Mines or any other certificate of Competency in Mining which entitles the applicant to work as Mining Sirdar as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in both OC & UG Mines.

iii. Valid First Aid Certificate.

iv. Valid Gas Testing Certificate.

Remuneration for MCL Recruitment 2023:

The candidate selected for the Post of Jr.Overman, T&S Gr-C will be placed at Rs. 31,852.56 PM

The candidate selected for the Post of Mining Sirdar, T&S Gr-C will be paid Rs. 31,852.56 per month.

The candidate selected for the Surveyor, T&S Gr-B will be paid Rs. 34,391.65 per month after the appointment.

Selection Process for MCL Recruitment 2023:

The Selection methodology will comprise of Computer Based Test (CBT) only. No personal interview will be held.

Eligible Candidates, as declared by them, will be provisionally called for Computer Based Test (CBT) on the basis of their declaration regarding their eligibility such as age, educational/technical qualification, Valid Statutory Certificate etc. as laid down in this notification/ advertisement. The scrutiny/ verification of the claims made by the candidate supporting their eligibility for the post applied will be done post declaration of results of Computer Based Test (CBT) for the candidates who have been called for the document verification process.

Application Fees for MCL Recruitment 2023:

Candidates from the GENERAL (UR)/ OBC (Creamy Layer and Non-Creamy Layer) / EWS categories are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1180. (Rupees One Thousand One Hundred Eighty only). SC / ST / PwBD /ESM/ Female candidates / Employees of Coal India Limited and its Subsidiaries are exempted from payment of application fees.

As per the MCL Recruitment 2023 Notification, interested candidates may apply online mode available on the MCL official website only under the CAREERS section and then go to the Recruitment section. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
