Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024: The Ministry Of Communication is hiring candidates for the post of Assistant Director (AD) and Junior Telecom Officer (JTO) on a temporary Contract Basis in UP(East) LSA Lucknow, Department of Telecommunications (DoT). Applications under VRS-2019 are also open for retired government employees, officers and officials of PSUs, research organizations, and retirees of BSNL/MTNL, who are below 64 years of age.. Based on the official notification of the Ministry of Communication Recruitment 2024, the applicant will be appointed on a contract basis for a tenure period of 06 months, which can be extended further up to a maximum of 6 terms of 06 months each or up to 65 years of age whichever is earlier depending on their performance or till regular officials are available. A selection panel will be constituted for this purpose and it will be valid for a period of 6 months. The panel may conduct a personal interview with the shortlisted candidates. Dated29-03- 2022(copy at Annexure-E) and subsequent amendments/orders issued by DoT HQ in this regard from time to time.
