Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2022: The Ministry of Defence is inviting applications from Indian eligible candidates for the vacant posts of Civilian Technical Instructor, Fatigueman (Multi-tasking staff), and Messenger (Multi-tasking staff). The pay scale for the mentioned posts will be Pay Level-05 Pay Matrix Rs. 29200/- to 92300/-, Pay Level-01 Pay Matrix Rs. 18000/- to 56900/-, and Pay Level-01 Pay Matrix Rs. 18000/- to 56900/. Those who have the qualifications and experience preferred for the job profiles will be able to register by going to the department’s website. 

Duly filled applications completed in all respects along with a self-addressed registered envelope duly affixed with the appropriate postal stamp with all the required documents must be sent through the proper channels at the following address: The Presiding Officer, Civilian Direct Recruitment (Scrutiny of Applications) Board, Headquarters 1 Signal Training Centre, Jabalpur (MP) -482001.

There are a total of 3 vacancies in the department, out of which 1 is reserved for CTI (Civilian Technical Instructor), 1 is for Fatigueman (Multi-tasking staff), and 1 remaining is available for the Messenger (Multi-tasking staff) post. If necessary, the Commandant, Headquarters 1 Signal Training Centre, Jabalpur (MP) can change the number of vacancies as it has the right to do so.

Qualifications and Experience for Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2022

For Civilian Technical Instructor

The candidates who are considering applying for the following post vacant in the Ministry of Defence recruitment 2022 must possess essential qualifications including, a B.SC degree with Physics or equivalent, or he/she must possess experience in the relevant field.

For Messenger (Multi-tasking)

To apply for the post of Messenger (Multi-tasking) in the Ministry of Defence recruitment 2022, candidates should have a Matriculation certificate or equivalent from any recognized board or university. He/she must be conversant with the duties of the respective trades with one year of experience in the trade.

For Fatigueman (Multi-tasking)

The candidate must have a Matriculation certificate or equivalent issued from a recognized university or board. He/she should be conversant with the duties of the respective trades with one year of experience in the trade.

Age Limit

The age limit to apply for any of the mentioned posts in the Ministry of Defence recruitment 2022 is between 18 to 25 years. The upper age limit will be relaxable for Govt. servants and ExServicemen candidates as per the govt rules prescribed in this regard. Applicants belonging to OBC (Non-creamy layer) category will be given age relaxation by 3 years. The SC/ST/OBC candidates who have applied against unreserved posts will not be given age and other concessions meant for SC.ST/OBC. 

Examination Fee

The candidates will have to make a payment of Rs 50 to apply for the posts of Civilian Technical Instructor, Fatigueman (Multi-tasking staff), and Messenger (Multi-tasking staff) in the Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2022. The payment will be made for Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) with Rs 50/- (Rupees Fifty only) in favor of the Commandant, Headquarters 1 Signals Training Centre, Jabalpur. Candidates will have to make sure to issue the postal order on or before the end date of the application. 

Scheme of Examination

The scheme of examination for the Ministry of Defence recruitment will be as mentioned below:

The selection of the candidates will be made strictly on a merit basis. The selection criteria will be including a written test and skill/trade/ typing test wherever necessary. The selection for all Group ‘C’ posts will be made solely on the basis of marks obtained by the applicants in the written test only subject to qualifying for the skill/trade test.
