Eligibilty for Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023:

The eligibility conditions for the post mentioned above are given below.

• Candidate should have an ability, integrity, and standing who has demonstrated capacity in dealing with securities market problems or has specific knowledge or experience in [aw, finance, economics, accounting, administration, or any other discipline that the Central Government believes will be useful to the Board.
• The Whote Time Member should be someone who does not have any financial or other interests that could jeopardize his functions as the Whote Time Member.
• Considering the role and importance of SEBI as a regulator, it is preferable that persons with high integrity, eminence, and reputation, preferably with more than 20 years of professional experience and between the ages of 45 and 60, apply with the following documents:

1. up-to-date and complete ACRs/APARs in original/attested photocopies of the last 5 years.
2.  integrity Certificate.
3.  Vigilance Clearance, including certification that no disciplinary or criminal proceedings are pending or contemptuous against the officers concerned.
4. Major/minor penalties imposed on the candidate during the previous ten years/No penalty certificate.

• The Securities and Exchange Board of India will review the Whole Time Member’s terms and conditions of service.

Note:
The candidate for the WTM position shall serve for a term of no more than five years

Salary for Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023:

The selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 400000 per month as per the 7th pay commission.

Selection Procedure for Ministry of Finance Recruitment 2023:

Selection for the candidates will be on an appointment basis made by the Central Government on the recommendation of the Financial Sector Regulatory Appointments Search Committee (FSRASC), and the FSRASC is free to identify and recommend any other person who has not applied for the position on the basis of merit.
