For Research Associate-I and Project Associate-I- The maximum age limit is 35 years.

For Junior Research Fellow- The maximum age limit is 28 years.

Salary for for Ministry of Jal Shakti Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of Ministry of Jal Shakti recruitment 2023, the age limit given below-

For Research Associate-I- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 47000.

For Project Associate-I and Junior Research Fellow- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of Rs. 31000.

For Resource Person (Junior)- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary between Rs. 20000 to Rs. 40000.

Qualification for Ministry of Jal Shakti Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for Ministry of Jal Shakti Recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-

For Research Associate-I-

Doctorate (Ph.D) in Civil Engineering/Water Resources or Sciences OR having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.E/M.Tech in Civil/Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, Soil and Water Conservation Engg. Earth Sciences, Geo-informatics.

Desirable– Experience in hydrological modelling using VIC, SWAT, SNOWMOD and MIKE 11 models.

For Project Associate-I-

Master’s Degree in Geology/Earth Sciences/RS and GIS OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology, in Civil or Agricultural Engineering.

Desirable– Preference will be given to the candidate having knowledge of AUTO-CAD (for designing and drawing)/ ARC GIS and Rain Water Harvesting as well as with higher or additional qualifications/ research experience/research publications in peer reviewed journals.

For Junior Research Fellow-

Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course in Civil Engg./ Agricultural Engg./Environmental Engg./ Water Resources/Hydrology/Remote Sensing and GIS/Geomatics/Geo-informatics/Earth Science OR Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science and Selection through a process described through any one of the following:

1- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
2- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

For Resource Person (Junior)-

Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Engineering/Hydrology/Water Resources/Agricultural Engineering/Civil Engineering.

Persons with higher/additional Qualification, research experience, published papers, and post qualification experience in the relevant field would be preferred.

For Resource Person (Junior)-

Post Graduate Degree in Environmental sciences/ Chemistry/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Environmental Engineering/Chemical Engineering.

Persons with higher/additional Qualification, research experience, published papers, and post qualification experience in the field of wastewater treatment and water microbiology would be preferred.
