Ms Bharati Das has been appointed as the new Controller General of Accounts (CGA)
As of today, Ms. Bharati Das is the new Controller General of Accounts (CGA). Ms. Das is the 27th Controller General of Accounts (CGA) for the Government of India's Ministry of Finance.
The Indian government has selected Ms. Bharati Das, an Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) officer from the 1988 batch, as the Controller General of Accounts (CGA), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, with effect from October 18, 2021.
Ms. Das held the position of Principal Chief Controller of Accounts (Pr. CCA) in the Central Board of Direct Taxes and Pr. PR from the CCA Ministry of External Affairs Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Port, Shipping & Waterways, Director, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and CCA Ministry of Home Affairs.
