MSTC Recruitment 2022: MSTC Ltd, which is formerly known as Metal Scrap Trade Corporation Limited, is a Central Public Sector Undertaking that works under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Steel, Government of India. With its involvement in diversified e-commerce services, the company owns its corporate office in Kolkata, West Bengal with regional branch offices in other cities. MSTC is currently looking to hire dynamic young professionals as well as professionals who have experience in systems.
The company is accepting applications from candidates who are eligible for the vacant post of Officer on Special Duty (OSD), and the recruitment for the post will be on a contractual basis. The period of engagement for the selected candidates will be initially for two years (extendable up to 5 years in a staggered way based on the requirement and performance of the candidate). The Officer will have to serve a one-month notice in case of resignation/termination.
It is noteworthy that the engagement of the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) on a contract basis will be on a full working day basis, and their place of posting is as indicated alongside the post for which they have applied, although, based on company requirements, the candidates who will get selected for the recruitment might be assigned to other projects/duties also. The candidates engaging on a contract basis will not derive any right or claim to have a regular post/appointment in the department.

As the above table shows, there are a total number of 18 vacancies reserved for the post in multiple departments. There are 8 requirements for Java Developers and one for the Network Assistant at HO. 3 are required for Java Developers, and 3 are for DOT NET developers at NRO, 3 are for Java Developers at Hyderabad.
Candidates applying for the post should be a graduate in any discipline of Engineering/MCA. A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in the skill set as given below against each profile:
Experience in J2EE, Java/JSP/Servlet, Java Script, MVC, Web API, Web Services(SOAP/REST), development tools like RAD/Eclipse & testing tools for quality & security, Database like MS SQL/DB2/Oracle required for programming, J2EE compliant Application Server. Additional experience in blockchain or data analytics or AI-related work shall be preferred.
Experience in dot Net core, ASP.Net, MVC, Web API, Web Services (SOAP/REST), development & testing tools for quality & security, Database like MS SQL/DB2/oracle required for programming, hosting of applications on Windows Server and IIS Or Experience on React JS, React Native in Mobile App. (Android & IOS), Additional experience in python or data analytics or AI-related work shall be preferred.
To apply for the following profile in the MSTC recruitment 2022, the required skill set is Experience in Network Device operations, monitoring & troubleshooting for Routers, Switches, Firewall & other Devices including Security, IP services (IPv4, IPv6, VPN, Multicast, QOS, SNMP, etc.), performance monitoring. Must have CCNA or CCNP certification with a valid certificate. Additional experience in Linux-based OS operations will also be preferred for recruitment in the department.
The candidates selected for the post in the MSTC Recruitment 2022 will be entitled to a pay scale of Rs. 50000/- to 1,20,000 per month.
The preferred age limit to apply for the MSTC Recruitment 2022 is 21-62 years as per the closing date of the receipt of applications.
The candidates with the preferred educational qualifications and experience will be called for an interview based on which the final selection will be done for the post.
