NABARD Recruitment 2024: National Bank for Agriculture And Rural Development (NABARD) is inviting candidates for the post of Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) on a contractual basis with fixed hourly remuneration. Candidate must hold MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine of any university recognized by the Medical Council of India. As mentioned in the Official notification of NABARD Recruitment 2024, the selected applicant will be appointed initially for a period of 05 years, which may be extendable in blocks of five years by mutual agreement.
NABARD will be conducting an interview for selection of panel of Medical officers on contract basis, with fixed hourly remuneration. Candidate will be posted at NABARD Staff Quarters, Damodar Park, Ghatkopar (West), Mumbai. In order to apply for NABARD Recruitment 2024, the candidates should have at least 02 years of experience in any hospital or clinic as Medical Practitioner. The chosen candidates will receive compensation of up to Rs. 1000 per hour for the first 03 years of contractual service and Rs.1200 per hour on completion of 03 years of contractual service. The Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) position is open to candidates on a contract basis with fixed hourly compensation through National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
The chosen applicant will be appointed initially for a period of 05 years, which may be extended in blocks of five years by mutual agreement, as stated in the official NABARD Recruitment 2024 notification. Renewing a contract after the age of 70 can be done annually by mutual consent, subject to medical fitness and review. This process can continue until the age of 75 years .With one month’s notice on either end, the engagement under this agreement may end at any moment.
As stated in the official NABARD Recruitment 2024 notification, the selected candidate would be assigned to the NABARD Staff Quarters located in Damodar Park, Ghatkopar (West), Mumbai.

According to the official NABARD Recruitment 2024 notification, selected candidates would be paid Rs.1000 per hour for the first three years of contractual employment and Rs.1200 per hour beyond three years. A monthly conveyance expense of Rs.1000 may be deducted from the total monthly payment payable.
Based on the official notification NABARD Recruitment 2024, the working hours for Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) position should be between 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM i.e. 02 hours per day, Monday to Saturday.
According to the official NABARD Recruitment 2024 notification, NABARD will be holding interviews to choose a panel of medical officers for a contract position with set hourly pay.
In order to restrict the number of applicants who get called in for interviews, the Bank retains the authority to increase the minimum qualifying requirements, among other things. In this case, the Bank’s decision will be final. If an applicant is not invited for an interview, the Bank will not react to any correspondence from them.
The candidate or candidates who make the short list following the interview will undergo medical examinations and provide a Medical Fitness Certificate in accordance with the guidelines before being assigned as a BMO.
