Nashik: Tax Officer Ends Life on Wedding Day After Fiancée’s Affair Exposed
A shocking case of an Income Tax Officer committing suicide on his wedding day has been brought to attention. Harekrishna Pandey, the Income Tax officer, came to know about his fiancée’s love affair after she hugged her alleged boyfriend on the day of their engagement.
Harekrishna Pandey was working in the Income Tax office of Nashik, and his marriage was arranged with a young woman from Varanasi. However, on the day of their engagement, the girl hugged her boyfriend in front of everyone, revealing her love affair, which caused the officer mental stress.
After this, Pandey refused to marry the girl. Because of this, the girl started to blackmail him. She pressured him to get married to her, or else she would wrongly frame him for the dowry crime. After being fed up of her continuous torture and mental stress, the officer took his life on the wedding day by hanging himself in the Uttamnagar area of Nashik. The Ambad police station has filed a case over this incident, causing a big stir in Nashik city.
