Pay Scale for NCCS Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NCCS recruitment 2023, candidates will be given a monthly remuneration as given below-

For Project Scientist- I- Candidates will be given Rs. 56000 pm including HRA.

For Research Associate- III- Candidates will be given Rs. 54000 pm.

For Laboratory Manager- Candidates will be given Rs. 55000 pm.

For Research Associate – I- Candidates will be given Rs. 47000 pm including HRA.

For Project Associate – II– Candidates will be given Rs. 36 000 pm including HRA.

For Technical-Lab Associate- Candidates will be given Rs. 30800 pm.

For Junior Research Fellow- Candidates will be given Rs. 31000 pm including HRA.

For Junior Research Fellow- Candidates will be given Rs. 31000 pm including HRA.

For Project Associate – I- Candidates will be given Rs. 31000 pm including HRA.

For Project Associate – I- Candidates will be given Rs. 25000 pm including HRA.

For Laboratory Technician- Candidates will be given Rs. 20000 pm including HRA.

Age Limit for NCCS Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NCCS recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is given below-

For Project Scientist- I, Research Associate – I, Project Associate – I, Project Associate – II and Research Associate- III- The maximum age limit is 35 years as of the last date of application.

For Laboratory Manager- The maximum age limit is 70 years as of the last date of application.

For Technical-Lab Associate- The maximum age limit is 30 years as of the last date of application.

For Junior Research Fellow- The maximum age limit is 28 years as of the last date of application.

For Laboratory Technicians- The maximum age limit is 50 years as of the last date of application.

Qualification for NCCS Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NCCS recruitment 2023, qualifications are given below-

For Project Scientist- I- Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.

Experience: Experience in NGS technologies for targeted amplicon sequencing. Experience in microbial or viral genome sequencing is preferred. Efficiency in using the Linux operating system and programming with python/R. Strong communication and writing skills.

For Research Associate- III- Ph. D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Experience: Experience in NGS technologies for targeted amplicon sequencing, whole metagenome and microbial genome sequencing, Experience in microbiome data analysis, Isolation, and characterization of anaerobic/aerobic bacteria. Efficiency in using the Linux operating system and programming with Python/R. Strong communication and writing skills proven by publications in reputed journals.

For Laboratory Manager- Professionals having M.Sc./ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MBA/ MBBS/qualifications in relevant subject with R&D experience and published papers OR Retired Government employees drawing pay in the Pay Band Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade pay of Rs.5400 at the time of retirement and having at least 20 years’ experience in the required domain/field.

Experience: Should have excellent experience in managing a Bio-Imaging (Microscopy) instrumental facility and outstanding team managing capabilities.

For Technical-Lab Associate- Graduate in Science/relevant subjects from a recognized university with 3 years of work experience from a recognized institution or Master’s degree in a relevant subject.

Experience: Experience in Light Microscopy.

Selection Procedure for NCCS Recruitment 2023:

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of eligibility. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. All the details regarding the date, time and venue of the interview will be available on the official website of NCCS. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through mail.
