National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is inviting aspirants having the requisite qualifications and experience for Senior Consultant and Consultant Positions in Earthquake Risk Mitigation on a contractual basis. The number of posts available for Senior Consultant and Consultant Positions is 04.

Age Limit for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

Tenure for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be hired for a full-time engagement and Consultant shall not take up any other assignment during the period of consultancy with NDMA).

Qualification for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the NDMA Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Senior Consultant

• Candidate should have a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering/ Earthquake Engineering/ Geophysics/ Seismology or a similar subject from a recognized university.
• Ph.D/M.Phil or specialization in structural/ Earthquake Engineering/ Seismology/ disaster risk reduction or a related subject.

Consultant

• Candidate should have a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering/ Earthquake Engineering/ Geophysics/ Seismology or a similar subject from a recognized university.
• Ph.D/M.Phil or specialization in structural/ Earthquake Engineering/ Seismology/ disaster risk reduction or a related subject.

Experience for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2023, the experience required for the above post is mentioned below.

Senior Consultant

• Candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in the field.
• Aspirants should have Experienced in the area of structural/ earthquake engineering/ geophysics/ seismology or a related subject.
• Duration of research work (PhD, Post employee, Doctoral) will be counted in work experience either maximum actual duration or 5 years, whichever is less.
• Field experience in the project with substantial use of disaster risk reduction and mitigation in report preparation will be given more weightage in the selection process.
• Both the educational qualifications and work experience must prove the credentials of the applicant as an established expert in the field.

Consultant

• Candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in the field
• Aspirants should have Experience in the area of structural/ (In ca earthquake engineering/ geophysics/ seismology or related subject
• Duration of research work (PhD, Post Doctoral) will be counted in work experience either actual duration or 5 years, whichever is less.
• Field experience in the project with substantial use of disaster risk reduction and mitigation in report preparation will be given more weightage in the selection process.
• Both the educational qualifications and work experience must prove the credentials of the applicant as an established expert in the field.

Salary for NDMA Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of NDMA Recruitment 2023, the applicant hired for the Senior Consultant post will get a monthly salary of Rs.125000 to Rs.175000, and for the Consultant post candidate will get Rs. 75000 to Rs.100000.
