NHB Recruitment 2022: National Horticulture Board has invited the application for the post of Young Professional. The Number of Vacancies are 17 and Vacant centers at, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu/Srinagar, Kolkata, Nasik, Pune, Vijayawada, Bhopal, Gwalior, Bhubneswar, Dehradun, Nagpur, Patna” Raipur, Ranchi) and Candidate will be purely on contract basis, initially, for a period of one year, extendable for a further period of two years subject to annual performance/review. The selected Candidate will get the Pay Scale of Rs. 50000 for the post.

Educational Qualifications
Graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture with Post Graduation in Horticulture/Post-Harvest Technology/Agriculture Economics/Agriculture Engineering/ Post-harvest Management /Food Technology/Food Sciences from the recognized University. Or
Graduate in Horticulture/Agriculture with MBA in Agribusiness.
Candidates should have proficiency in handling Computers (MS Office, PowerPoints, Excel, etc.)
Desirable
Post-qualification experience in the relevant field as prescribed in the job description.
Work Experience
i. Minimum of one year of work experience relevant to the job description.
ii. Preference will be given to persons with work experience in the relevant field supported by published work/policy papers/appraisal/monitoring of projects and schemes etc.
Young Professionals will be required to follow up day to day progress of the Cluster Development Programme (CDP) at their respective State/Cluster level so that this important program can be implemented successfully with proper follow-up and monitoring. He will also report to the concerned center in charge of NHB or the Concerned officer at NHB, HQ, Gurugram to assist in the Implementation of other schemes and programs of the Board. This would require a demonstration of proven academic credentials, professional achievements and leadership qualities on the part of the aspirants.
During the period of such engagement, The Young Professionals could be called for services on holidays or beyond normal working hours for which no extra remuneration would be required hours for which no extra remuneration per requirement. They will report to the Concerned Centre Incharge of NHB and Concerned Officer at NHB, HQ depending upon the task assigned to them.
The engagement may be terminated at any time by the office without assigning any reasons by giving a notice of 30 days. In case, a Young Professionals desires to leave the assignment, he/she will have to give 30 days prior notice which can be curtailed/extended depending upon the workload.
In case any Young Professional is found unfit on any account, or if he/she is found guilty of any insubordination/misconduct, his/her services can be terminated immediately without any notice.
The selected candidate will not be entitled to any claim or right for continuing in assignment or regular appointment to this assignment/post or any other post in the NHB. NHB shall not be responsible for any loss, accident, damage or injury suffered by the Young Professionals whatsoever arising in or out of the execution of his work including travel.
