National Housing Bank is looking for qualified applications for the posts of General Manager Scale – VII, Deputy General Manager (CFO) Scale – VI, Assistant General Manager Scale-V (Economist), Deputy Manager, Scale – II (MIS and Economist), Assistant Manager Scale-I (Generalist and Rajbhasha), Chief Economist (On Contract), Senior Project Finance Officer, Project Finance Officer. 

There are a total of 43 vacant seats for the mentioned posts. The detail-wise vacancies distribution is given below in the table-

Qualification for NHB Recruitment 2023:

For Chief Economist (On Contract)-

• Candidates must hold A Master’s Degree in Economics with a specialization in monetary economics or Econometrics from a recognized Indian/ Foreign University.

For General Manager (Project Finance)-

• Candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline with a Chartered Accountant

For Deputy General Manager (CFO)- 

• Candidates must be a Chartered Accountant.

For Assistant General Manager (Economist)-

• Candidates must hold Post Graduate degree in Economics.

For Assistant General Manager (Economist)-

• Candidates must hold Post Graduate degree in Economics.

For Deputy Manager (MIS)-

• Candidates must hold Post Graduate degree in Statistics OR Post Graduate degree/ diploma in Operation Research.

For Application Developer (on contract) and Senior Application Developer- 

• Candidates must hold a B.E. (CS/IT)/B.Tech degree.

For Project Finance Officer (on contract)-

• Candidates must be a Officers with minimum working experience of 10 years in SCBs/ Financial Institutions of which a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling Credit/ Project Finance

For Senior Project Finance Officer (on contract)-

• Candidates must be a Officers with minimum working experience of 15 years in SCBs/ Financial Institutions of which a minimum of 10 years of experience in handling Credit/ Project Finance.

Salary for NHB Recruitment 2023:

The chosen applicant for NHB Recruitment 2023 will given a monthly honorarium as mentioned below-

For General Manager- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration between Rs. 116120 – 3220/4 Rs. 129000.

For Deputy General Manager- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration between Rs. 104240 – 2970/4 – Rs. 116120.

For Assistant General Manager- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration between Rs. 89890 – 2500/2 – 94890 – 2730/2 – Rs. 100350.

For Deputy Manager- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration between Rs. 48170 – 1740/1 – 49910 – 1990/10 – Rs. 69810.

For Assistant Manager- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration between Rs. 36000 – 1490/7 – 46430 – 1740/2 – 49910 – 1990/7-Rs. 63840 Contractual Posts Period of Contract.

For Chief Economist Market- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs 5 lacs per month (with a fixed pay of Rs 3.75 lacs and variable pay of Rs 1.25 lacs).

For Senior Application Developer- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 1.25 lacs per month (consolidated)

For Senior Project Finance Officer- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs 3.5 lacs per month.

For Project Finance Officer- The chosen candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs 2.5 lacs per month. In case of outstation duty, traveling and halting allowances will be applicable to Scale IV cadre (IBA Scale).

Tenure for NHB Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the NHB Recruitment 2023 official notification, the appointment is for a term of 1 year of active service beginning on the date of his or her joining the Bank, but the Bank may choose to prolong it.

Selection Procedure for NHB Recruitment 2023:

The selection of candidates will be based on tests and interviews. The shortlisted candidates will be informed later of the date, time, and location of the selection process.

1st Phase: Online Exam

• There will be both Objective and Descriptive Tests in the online exam.
• Marks: 200, Duration- 3 hours

2nd Phase: Interview

• There are 50 total points awarded for the interview. The weighting (ratio) of the online test and the interview will be 80:20.
