NHPC Recruitment 2023: NHPC is inviting applications and is looking for High Performing, Dynamic & Achievement-Oriented young Graduate Engineers and Professionals with good academic records to appoint them to Various Posts including Trainee Engineer and Trainee Officers in different disciplines in the organization.

Applications are being invited for the following Posts:
1. Trainee Engineer (Civil) – 136
2. Trainee Engineer (Electrical) – 41
3. Trainee Engineer (Mechanical) – 108
4. Trainee Officer (Finance) – 99
5. Trainee Officer (HR) – 14
6. Trainee Officer (LAW) – 03
The age limit of candidates should be below 30 years to be eligible to apply for the given posts as on 25/01/2023.
Candidates will be placed at Projects / Power Stations/ Offices including Joint Ventures & Subsidiary Companies of NHPC located in various parts of the country or abroad as per requirement.
For Trainee Engineer (Civil)
The eligible candidate should hold a Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree in Civil Discipline from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade or
AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
For Trainee Engineer (Electrical)
An eligible candidate must have a Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology / B.Sc (Engineering) Degree in Electrical Discipline from a recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade or
AMIE (enrollment up to 31.05.2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Electrical Discipline including Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics /Power Systems & High Voltage/ Power Engineering.

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 50000 -3%- 1,60,000 (IDA) (E2) during one year training period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed as Engineer/Officer on the same scale with probation of one year. The total annual emoluments for the new joinee shall be approx. Rs. 15 Lakh.
Candidates shall be shortlisted out of the candidates registered with NHPC as per merit based on the GATE — 2022 marks and will be provisionally selected on an extended “Offer of Appointment” provisional basis.

Candidates belonging to the General, EWS & OBC categories are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 2295 (including GST@18%) through online mode. The SC/ST/PwBD Ex-Serviceman category candidates need not pay the registration fee.
As per the NHPC Recruitment 2023 Notification, interested candidates may apply through online mode available on the NHPC official website. Only candidates who have appeared in GATE-2022 and have a valid score with GATE Registration Number, appeared in UGC NET-Dec-2021 & June 2022 (merged cycle) with valid Application Number, appeared in CLAT 2022 (applicable for admission to PG/ LLM Courses) with CLAT 2022 Registration Number, and candidates who have valid CA/CMA score with CA/CMA certificate can register online on NHPC’s website.
The application window will be open for registration from 05th January 2023 (10:00 AM) to 25th January 2023 (11:55 PM).
