NHRC Recruitment 2022: The National Human Rights Commission(NHRC) proposes to engage Senior Consultant (Law)-01 and Consultant (Law)- 07 on a contractual basis in 2022, for the various works of the Law Division of the National Human Rights Commission.

The engagement will be strictly contractual and will not confer any other financial benefits to selected candidates, other than the consultancy fee and the engagement will be on a full-time basis. The normal working hours will be from 09:30 to 18:00 hrs. for 5 days a week. The candidate will receive a paid leave of absence at the rate of one & half-day for each completed month of service.

Eligibility for NHRC Recruitment:

(i) The Applicant should be retired from the post of Joint Registrar (Level-13 in Pay Matrix or equivalent) from the Central Government, the State Government, Union territories, autonomous or statutory organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities or recognized Research Institutions and from Supreme Court/High Courts/District Courts/Tribunals etc.

(ii) Possessing a Degree in Law from a recognized University and ten years of experience in Court matters or of any other post involving interpretation or application of statutes

(iii) Should have Proficient in the use of computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and e. office.

(iv) Should not be more than 64 years of age on the last date of submission of application.

(v) Preference will be given to the candidates having administrative experience.

Eligibility for Consultant (Law) NHRC Recruitment:

(i) The Applicant should be retired from the post of Deputy Registrar/Assistant Registrar (Level-12 or 11 in Pay Matrix or equivalent) from the Central Government, the State Government, Union territories, autonomous or statutory organizations, Public Sector Undertakings, Universities or recognized Research Institutions and from Supreme Court/High Courts/District Courts/Tribunals etc.

(ii) Possessing a Degree in Law from a recognized University and five years of experience in Court matters or of any other post involving interpretation or application of statutes

(iii) Should have Proficient in the use of computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and c. office.

(iv) Should not be more than 64 years of age on the last date of submission of application.

(v) Preference will be given to the candidates having administrative experience.

Nature of engagement for NHRC Recruitment:

The engagement is not a regular appointment but a temporary contractual arrangement under which a fixed consolidated contractual fee will be paid for the services rendered by the Consultants (Law).

Age and Duration of Engagement for NHRC Recruitment:

The applicant should not be more than 64 years of age on the last date of submission of the application. The Consultant shall initially be engaged for a period of one year.

Selection Process for NHRC Recruitment:

i) The Commission will review the applications and short-listed candidates and will be called for an interview.

ii) The date, time and venue of the interview will be conveyed to the shortlisted candidates through email at the email address provided by the applicants.

iii) The final selection will be based on their performance at the time of the interview.

iv) The decision of the Commission regarding the selection of candidates will be final.
