National Investigation Agency (NIA) is recruiting applicants to fill up Scientific posts in Various departments on a deputation (ISTC) basis. The number of vacancies available for the above post is 24.

Age Limit for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the Official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit shall not be exceeding 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of the application.

Tenure for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, the candidate will be appointed on a deputation (ISTC) for a period of not more than 03 years.

Qualification for NIA Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the NIA Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualification.

Technical Forensic Psychologist

• Candidate should have a Master’s degree in Criminology or Clinical Psychology regular course from a recognized University.
• Candidate should have three years of experience in applied Psychology or Criminology / Crime Investigation.

Desirable

• Doctorate Degree in Psychology from a recognized University.
• Three years experience in practicing clinical psychology.
• M. Phil in Clinical Psychology; or PG Diploma in Forensic Psychology; or M. Phil in Forensic Psychology.

Finger Print Expert

• Candidate should have M.Sc. Degree in any Science Subject or M.Sc. in Forensic Science; or B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
• Candidate should have three years of experience in a laboratory in the development and identification of fingerprints.

Desirable

• Doctorate Degree relevant to qualification; or
• Fingerprint expert examination from a recognized institution.

Explosive Expert

• Candidate should have a Master’s degree in Chemistry or M.Sc. in Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at B. Sc. Level from a recognized university,
• Candidate should have five years of experience in the examination of explosives and firearms.

Desirable

Doctorate Degree in Chemistry.

Photographer

• Candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
• Candidate should have a Diploma holder in photography from a recognized Institute.
• Candidate should have three years of experience in various branches of photography, including experience in scientific Photography with theoretical and practical knowledge of all its techniques.

Desirable

• Experience in photography in a scientific laboratory.
• Experience in Videography.

Salary for NIA Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, applicants will get a salary range between Rs.35400 to Rs.177500 per month.

Special Secruity Allowance for NIA Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of NIA Recruitment 2023, applicants will get 20%-15% of basic pay.

The Notification has been released on the 1st of August 2023.
