Qualifications needed for Scientist B post candidates are

Candidates must pass a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology OR a Department of Electronics and Accreditation of Computer Courses at the B-level OR an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers OR a Graduate Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers OR a Master Degree in Science (MSc) OR a Master Degree in Computer Application OR a Master Degree in Engineering /Technology (ME /M.Tech) OR a Master Degree in Philosophy (M Phil) in the following fields –

Field (single or in combination amongst the below only):

Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Computer Sciences, Communication, Computer and Networking Security, Computer Application, Software System, Information Technology, Information Technology Management, Informatics, Computer Management, Cyberlaw, Electronics and Instrumentation.

Qualifications needed for Scientific Officer / Engineer-SB and Scientific/Technical Assistant-A

Salary for NIC Recruitment 2023:

Designation-wise salaries are given below:

• Candidates who will apply for the Scientist B post will get a monthly pay scale level 10  which is between Rs. 56100 to Rs.177500.
• Candidates who will apply for the Scientific Officer / Engineer-SB post will get a monthly pay scale level 7  which is between Rs. 44900 to Rs.142400.
• Candidates who will apply for the Scientific/Technical Assistant-A post will get a monthly pay scale level 6 which is between Rs. 35400 to Rs.112400.

Selection Procedure for NIC Recruitment 2023

The Selection process for the post mentioned above is.

• Candidates applying for the Scientist “B” and Scientific Officer/Engineer-SB post will be selected through a written examination and interview
• Candidates applying for the Scientific/Technical Assistant – “A” post will be selected through a written test.
