For Superintendent, Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, SAS Assistant and Library & Information Assistant- 30 years. 

For Senior Assistant and Senior Technician- 33 years.

For Junior Assistant and Technician- 27 years.

Pay Scale for NITR Recruitment 2022: 

For Librarian, Principal Scientific Officer- Rs. 144200 to Rs. 218200.

For Superintending Engineer- Rs. 123100 to Rs. 215900.

For Deputy Registrar, Senior Scientific Officer and Senior Executive Engineer- Rs. 78800 to Rs. 209200.

For Scientific Officer, Student Activity & Sports(SAS) Officer, Assistant Registrar and Medical Officer- Rs. 56100 to Rs. 177500.

For Superintendent, Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, SAS Assistant and Library & Information Assistant- Rs. 35400 to Rs. 112400.

Qualification for NITR Recruitment 2022: 

For Librarian- Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 points scale or at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven-point scale and a consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.

Experience-

•  Holding analogous post Or
•  At least ten years experience as a Deputy Librarian in the library of technical University, educational institution of national importance, or any other large technical library with at least 3 years being spent on a post in PB-4 (Rs.37400 – 67000) with GP of Rs.8700 or an equivalent post.
• Experience (supported with evidence) of innovative Library service and commitment for
  computerization of the library.
  Desirable-
• Higher degree (Ph. D. or equivalent) in a relevant Discipline directly relevant to Library Science/Information Science/Documentation.

For Principal Scientific Officer- B.E. /B. Tech or M.Sc./MCA degree in a relevant field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale or 60 % marks) and consistently excellent academic record.

Experience-

• At least 15 years experience as Scientific Officer/Technical Officer or an equivalent post or above,
  out of which at least 8 years experience as Sr. Scientific Officer/Sr. Technical Officer in PB-3 with
  GP of Rs.7600/- or an equivalent post in a Central/State Government Department/Autonomous
  Bodies/Universities/Institutions of national importance /PSU etc.

For Technical Assistant-

• First Class or equivalent Grade in B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in relevant subject from a recognized University/Institute Or
• First Class Diploma in Engineering in a relevant Field with an excellent academic record Or
• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or Institute Or
• Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or Institute with at least 50% marks or
  equivalent grade.

For Junior Engineer-

• First Class B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute Or
• First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering with an excellent academic record.

Selection Procedure for NITR Recruitment 2022:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Trade Test/Skill Test/Interview/written and skill test.

The written test may be conducted at Rourkela, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. However, the Skill/Trade test will be conducted in Rourkela only.

For the written test, a candidate has to give the option for three cities in the order of priority. No request for a change of city/center will be considered later under any circumstances.

How to Apply for NITR Recruitment 2022: 

As per the official notification of NITR recruitment 2022, interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of NITR. Applicants belonging to UR, OBC (Non-creamy layer) category have to pay Rs. 1000 as the application fee and EWS, SC, ST, and PWD candidates have to pay Rs. 500. The Application Fee is to be paid through SBI Collect only.

The last date for submitting the online application form is 16th January 2023.
