'North East Small Finance Bank' Renamed as 'Slice Small Finance Bank' in Second Schedule of RBI Act 1934
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has notified all its affiliated banks that the name of “North East Small Finance Bank Limited” has been officially amended to “Slice Small Finance Bank Limited.” This amendment has been made in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Act, 1934, through a notification (DoR.LIC.No.S1134/16.13.216/2025-26) dated May 14, 2025. The revised name has also been issued in the Gazette of India on May 16, 2025.
