Seeks to bring into force certain sections of the IGST Act, 2017 w.e.f 01.07.2017

IGST Notification No. 3/2017 Integrated Tax dated 28-06-2017

Notification no.3/2017 ITGST - Provisions of GST will come into force on 01.07.17 Ministry of Finance has notified vide notification no.3/2017 dated 28th June, 2017 regarding a few provisions which will come into effect on 01.07.17. Central government has been given this powers u/s 1(3) of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.Sections 4 to 13, 16 to19, 21, 23 to 25 shall come into force on an appointed date. The appointed date notified for this by Central Government is 1st July,2017.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of theIntegrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (13 of 2017), the Central Government herebyappoints the 1st day of July, 2017, as the date on which the provisions of sections 4 to 13, 16 to19, 21, 23 to 25 of the said Act, shall come into force.
