Overview:

Novartis is hiring a Financial Analyst /Sr.Financial Analyst at their Hyderabad location. This is a mid-level role responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support business decisions. This role will work closely with the finance team and other teams to ensure financial performance aligns with organizational goals and objectives. This position will be responsible for analysing financial data, developing financial models, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

What will you be doing:

Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and present findings to senior leadership. Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and forecasting.

Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for strategic initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring that financial projections are aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Support financial projects, including process improvements and system implementations.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Support Planning (Budget, Latest Forecast, StratPlan) and Reporting for specific business units with strong focus on quality and accuracy of reported number

Provide meaningful decision support for various operational projects. Drive good accounting practices, guaranteeing adherence to Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM)

Enable and assist in productivity & offshoring/outsourcing Initiatives for specific business units. Drive Financial Accounting & Reporting activities in one of the following areas: Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Financial Controls, Compliance and Risk management activities

Understand business process, perform risk assessment, walkthroughs, conducting tests of design and operating effectiveness of controls. Continue supporting AI driven disruption to Planning process

Show proactiveness & capabilities to challenge status quo & be adaptive for new & efficient tool implementation.

Qualifications for this Job:

Chartered Accountant / CPA / Post Graduate university Degree in Finance or MBA, or Equivalent

Business English (written and spoken)

Good Presentation and Communication Skills

Good academic track record

0-4 years of prior working experience
