NTCA Recruitment 2023: Check Posts, Qualification, How to Apply
NTCA Recruitment 2023: National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), invites applications from eligible candidates for the Consultant and Research Associate posts. There are a total of 03 vacancies for the given post. Candidates applying for NTCA recruitment 2023 will be given a monthly remuneration of up to Rs. 60000. As per the official notification of NTCA recruitment 2023, the upper age limit to apply for the consultant is 40 years and for Research Associate is 35 years.
Applications will be selected on the basis of eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be called for online tests and interviews. Eligible candidates can fill out the application form given in the official notification and send their duly filled-in application form through mail to ([email protected]). The last date for submitting the application form is 21 days from 20th January 2023.
As per the official notification of NTCA recruitment 2023, the vacancy is open for the post of Consultant and Research Associate posts. There are a total of 03 vacancies for the given post.
The appointment is made on a contractual basis for a period of 1-year extendable upto 3 years subject to the performance of the candidate.

For Consultant- 40 years
For Research Associate- 35 years
Candidates applying for NTCL recruitment 2023 will be given a monthly remuneration as given below-
For Consultant- Rs. 60000
For Research Associate- Rs. 40000
For Consultant-
Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Wildlife Sciences/Zoology/Botany/life Sciences/Biological Sciences/Forestry/ForestManagement/Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Conservation Biology/Statistics/ Remote Sensing and GIS/Geoinformatics/Earth Sciences/Agriculture Science/Natural Resource Management.
Domain knowledge and with at least 2 years experience (after Ph.D.) and 5 years experience (after Masters’s) in the field of forestry/conservation/wildlife research and management. Proficiency in using computers and excellent writing and communication skills in English. Candidates with a proven record of publications will be given preference.
For Research Associate-
Master’s degree in Wildlife Sciences/Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences/Biological Sciences/Forestry/Forest Management/Environmental Science/Environmental Management/Conservation Biology/Statistics/Remote Sensing and GIS/Geoinformatics/Earth Sciences/Agriculture Science/Natural Management Resource.
Preferred 3 years experience/aptitude after ecology, field surveys, sampling and study design, data collection through Masters in a) Animal basic field techniques, basic GIS and open source software.
Applications will be selected on the basis of eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be called for online tests and interviews. The online written essay will be for 40 minutes and comprise a one-page (300-400 words) essay based on the knowledge of Ecology. Conservation Biology, Sampling techniques, Life Sciences, Conservation Genetics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, GIS, Remote Sensing, Geo-informatics and their application in wildlife conservation and relevant conservation issues (50 marks).
The candidates that qualify for the written essay will be notified through email for the personal interview.
